Overview – MS20‑MSKZ Welfare Cabin

The MS20‑MSKZ welfare cabin is a 20ft x 8ft modular site cabin designed to provide warm, hygienic welfare space on construction and industrial sites. Built on a certified EXC2 steel frame with insulated sandwich panels, it offers a durable and relocatable solution for long-term projects.

This welfare cabin is factory-finished with complete electrical and sanitary installations. It can be used as a standalone welfare unit or combined with other ISO frame modules to create larger complexes with offices, canteens and changing rooms.

Steel Structure

• Load-bearing steel frame in EXC2 class according to PN‑EN 1090‑1
• Cold-formed steel profiles welded in accordance with PN‑EN ISO 3834‑2
• CE-marked product
• Steel frame shot-blasted to Sa 2.5 (PN‑EN ISO 8501‑1) in a closed blasting chamber
• Spray-painted in a paint booth and dried in a combined booth-dryer
• ISO-standard lifting points located in the corners
• Stackable up to 3 storeys (subject to design and foundations)

Roof

• Multi-layer roof build-up:
• – 0.55 mm galvanised steel sheet
• – 12 mm chipboard
• – 50 mm mineral wool insulation
• – Polyethylene vapour barrier
• – 50 mm EPS sandwich panel, internal finish RAL 9010
• Perimeter gutters integrated in the frame with downpipes in corner posts
• Design snow load sk = 1.6 kN/m²

Walls

• External walls: 75 mm EPS sandwich panels, external low-rib steel sheet RAL 7035, internal smooth steel sheet RAL 9010
• Internal walls: 50 mm EPS sandwich panels, finish RAL 9010
• WC cubicle partitions in 18 mm laminated board

Floor

• Multi-layer floor build-up:
• – 2 mm grey PVC floor covering, hot-welded and coved up the wall
• – 22 mm cement-particle board
• – Polyethylene foil
• – 100 mm mineral wool insulation
• – 0.5 mm galvanised trapezoidal steel sheet T‑8
• Floor load capacity: 200 kg/m²

Windows

• White PVC windows (as per drawing)
• Tilt hardware
• Obscure double-glazed units with U = 1.1 W/m²K for privacy

Doors

• External door: single-leaf steel door, white, 900 x 2000 mm (as per drawing), thermally insulated, with lock, euro cylinder and 3 keys, handles and escutcheons
• Internal bathroom doors: single-leaf white doors, 900 x 2000 mm, with bathroom lock, WC indicator, handles and ventilation sleeves
• WC cubicle doors: 18 mm laminated board, width 600 mm, system hinges and fittings

Electrical Installation

• Concealed electrical installation (sockets and switches surface-mounted)
• 12-module sealed distribution board
• 230 V socket outlets (as per drawing)
• Lighting installation with IP65-rated fluorescent-type fittings with LED 2 x 16 W (as per drawing)
• External power connection via 5×32 A industrial plug and socket
• Earthing of the steel frame via cable bolted to the structure with M10 bolt

Sanitary Installation

• Surface-mounted water installation in PP pipes, welded fittings and pipes, designed for 0.45 MPa
• Surface-mounted PVC waste installation with outlets in floor or wall (to be agreed)
• Typical equipment (according to layout): 200 L water heater, wash trough, washbasin, WC, urinal, shower cabin and floor drain

Ventilation

• Mechanical extract fans and/or ventilation grilles (as per drawing)

Heating

• Electric convector heater(s) (as per drawing)
